When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. This gives you a few quiet moments to park, settle in, and transition into your session without feeling rushed.
What if I’m running late?
If you are running behind, please send a quick text to let me know! While I will always do my best to give you your full treatment time, late arrivals may result in a shortened session so the schedule stays on track for the next client.
What happens if I arrive earlier than 10 minutes?
Because I am often finishing up with another client or sanitizing the room between sessions, the suite doors may be closed. If you arrive early, feel free to relax in the waiting area (or your car), and I will come greet you as soon as I am ready!
How does the deposit policy work?
I require a 50% online deposit at the time of booking to reserve your appointment slot. The remaining 50% balance, plus applicable New Jersey state sales tax, is collected at the conclusion of your session. Your deposit is non-refundable but can be credited toward your next session if you reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of the appointment will result in the loss of the deposit to cover the lost treatment time.
When should I NOT get a massage?
Please reschedule your session if you have a fever, a contagious illness, an acute infection, open skin wounds, poison ivy, or an unmanaged medical condition. If you have had recent surgery or severe injuries, please consult your physician beforehand. A physician's release may be required depending on the extent of injury; Inquire with me directly via email. Massage Therapy is not a replacement for medical care, your health and mine, are top priority. If you need to reschedule due to illness, your deposit will be transferred to a future date or refunded without penalty. Please note that this is a courtesy service, and repeat cancellations due to illness may still incur a late cancellation fee.Â
What happens if there is severe or unsafe weather on the day of my appointment?
Your safety comes first! If a storm or severe weather is predicted, I will reach out to check in prior to your session. If driving or travel conditions are unsafe, I can reschedule your appointment with no penalty. Likewise, if you feel unsafe traveling due to the weather, please let me know as soon as possible and I will reschedule your session without any cancellation fee.
